Oh my; time does fly!

We moved to Sidney, MT at the end of May. Now Jesse doesn't commute 3 hours a day. Yay ! We are happy to say the plumbing works in our Glendive house. Still got to pay off the bill…..We may get that done by the time we eventually finish and sell it! Vinnie-17 months- is 30 lbs. of pure energy! He loves books, outside, bananas, his doggy; his Mama, Dad-dad and, " Dah "( ie . Zoe). Our dog is almost 13 and quite deaf and blind. She still loves to go for walks and snores when she sleeps; which is most of the time. I hope to have some time to myself very soon. So pleased that my family is happy and well! I'm still going a bit crazy, but things may even out soon. Here's to hope!

Need Something!

What I'm hoping for is change; inside me. That I can see the same world in a new way. I ruminate, I speak my mind, I hold back. I cry and curse my weakness. Then I carry on. I do wish I had Winston Churchill's resolve! "Never, never, never give up." "If you're going through hell, keep going." My upper lip isn't so stiff; it tends to quiver on occasion.

1-11-11

I haven't been posting on this blog since V was born. Life has run me over, so to speak. The long days and nights of catnaps and baby crying really got to me. I freaked out more than a little and actually couldn't sleep for a couple days in those first weeks. Some meds from my doctor helped a little bit, but the only thing that really gave me light was when he started sleeping for 4 hours at a time. Then I could last for a few hours; then I'd need to sleep as soon as he did. This was how I coped for the first 8 months. Lots of tears and yelling were included. Packing up and moving into our "new" fixer-upper happened in June. Jesse began to get steady, paying work in July. Zoe started 2nd grade amid the most crowded mess she's ever lived in. The state of my home has slowly become a little more organized. I still have piles of paperwork that give me nightmares. Our sewer problem has been ongoing since the first couple weeks we moved in. We finally figured out ...

Things Are Looking Up

We have a good offer on the house, and hope the inspection today leaves the buyer satisfied. Then we will close on April 22. We also put in an offer on a fixer-upper for our next place; got a reasonable counter offer which we will accept. It is all very topsy-turvy, especially with baby in the mix. Any day now! Jesse has had work for a couple weeks, and a couple more weeks planned. We hope it continues to pick up as the weather warms. Thank you all for support, kind words, and prayers during the scary times! We are blessed beyond words to experience this beautiful mess of life with family and friends at our sides!
