Do You Hear What I Hear?

Pretty much the sound of commercialism reigning supreme the world over. Why is our Christmas holiday so lost? Sadly, the focus has shifted from gratitude to overindulgence and empty gestures.

We are swimming upstream on this one. We are giving markers and books to our kiddo for Christmas. We have picked some inexpensive items to bestow upon our close family; and me and my girl have been baking to share with our dear friends. I do hope we can teach her to see the truth in the holiday- we were given a gift we desperately needed and didn't deserve; from the hand of a being so loving we can't fathom it. All we can do is humbly share a little of our thankfulness by loving those around us.

Do your best, even if it's the worst. Merry Christmas everyone!

Blessings as you swim upstream. And congratulate that sister of yours on a job well done. He's a wide-eyed cutie-pie, that one.

Oh my; time does fly!

We moved to Sidney, MT at the end of May. Now Jesse doesn't commute 3 hours a day. Yay ! We are happy to say the plumbing works in our Glendive house. Still got to pay off the bill…..We may get that done by the time we eventually finish and sell it! Vinnie-17 months- is 30 lbs. of pure energy! He loves books, outside, bananas, his doggy; his Mama, Dad-dad and, " Dah "( ie . Zoe). Our dog is almost 13 and quite deaf and blind. She still loves to go for walks and snores when she sleeps; which is most of the time. I hope to have some time to myself very soon. So pleased that my family is happy and well! I'm still going a bit crazy, but things may even out soon. Here's to hope!
