Sad Goodbyes

Yesterday - heard about Heath Ledger. So sad! He was a favorite of ours. Now we may never watch every film he made-it's too sad to think there will be nothing else with his boyish grin and heart-felt performance. I feel for his family, especially his little girl who won't know where Daddy went. Peace to them all!
I had an easier, personal goodbye yesterday. All of Zoe's baby, toddler clothes were given to a family with 6 children, 2 being twin newborn girls. They will definitely use it all, and we don't need it anymore since we don't plan for more kids. That may be why it was difficult for me. It really sunk in that the baby times have past, and we are off at full speed into childhood, teens, and beyond. Pictured below is a portion of the stuff. A new phase, and hopefully a new challenge and fresh joy.

I can sympathize with you! We sold and donated all our baby stuff two years ago. Even though we knew we were done with it and needed to free up some storage space, it was hard to let it go. I was all wrapped up emotionally in the memories of each item.

I don't feel the same attachment to the kid stuff now. Must be a mom-baby thing.

Mind your Breathing

If only it had an off switch; my mind. It is noisy and cluttered and I can feel it in my stomach and in my throat. I'm all one piece, after all. If I could disconnect, I'd be in a quiet, comfortable place. Alas, I am entwined, and so I must breathe slowly-deeply. I will get to quiet and calm if I can only breathe. Be still, mind; silence to this mortal temple in which I reside. May you too have peace and be blessed. And do not forget to breathe.

Oh my; time does fly!

We moved to Sidney, MT at the end of May. Now Jesse doesn't commute 3 hours a day. Yay ! We are happy to say the plumbing works in our Glendive house. Still got to pay off the bill…..We may get that done by the time we eventually finish and sell it! Vinnie-17 months- is 30 lbs. of pure energy! He loves books, outside, bananas, his doggy; his Mama, Dad-dad and, " Dah "( ie . Zoe). Our dog is almost 13 and quite deaf and blind. She still loves to go for walks and snores when she sleeps; which is most of the time. I hope to have some time to myself very soon. So pleased that my family is happy and well! I'm still going a bit crazy, but things may even out soon. Here's to hope!
