Baking


Here's the first round of Christmas cookies.These gingerbread cookies are for Zoe's school Christmas program this Wednesday evening. I also froze dough for raspberry pinwheels to bake another day. Whew! I was concerned that I'd never get started, but I believe Zoe will keep me going. She enjoys helping most of the time. She actually frosted half of this batch herself! Anything to do with rolling, spreading, or frosting brings her from the other room. "Mom, I washed my hands; can I help?" I hope she can take over in a few years! My feet are not up to 6 hours in the kitchen!

Mind your Breathing

If only it had an off switch; my mind. It is noisy and cluttered and I can feel it in my stomach and in my throat. I'm all one piece, after all. If I could disconnect, I'd be in a quiet, comfortable place. Alas, I am entwined, and so I must breathe slowly-deeply. I will get to quiet and calm if I can only breathe. Oh my; time does fly!

We moved to Sidney, MT at the end of May. Now Jesse doesn't commute 3 hours a day. Yay ! We are happy to say the plumbing works in our Glendive house. Still got to pay off the bill…..We may get that done by the time we eventually finish and sell it! Vinnie-17 months- is 30 lbs. of pure energy! He loves books, outside, bananas, his doggy; his Mama, Dad-dad and, " Dah "( ie . Zoe). Our dog is almost 13 and quite deaf and blind. She still loves to go for walks and snores when she sleeps; which is most of the time. I hope to have some time to myself very soon. So pleased that my family is happy and well! I'm still going a bit crazy, but things may even out soon. Here's to hope!
